DONATE TO CLAIBORNE CHARITY

The goal of Claiborne Charity, Inc., which is a non-profit organization, is to maintain a fund to provide charitable assistance in Claiborne Parish primarily for needs not specifically met by existing charities. Examples are devastating illness which creates a financial hardship or a house fire for someone who has little or no insurance.

Monies are distributed by application only. Claiborne Charity does not advertise but rather seeks input from social workers, ministers, principals, and health care workers. Decisions on disbursements are made by a six member board made up of 2 members each from the Haynesville area, Homer area, and southern part of the parish.

The main source of funding is a golf tournament along with an auction. Claiborne Charity also happily accepts donations.

Claiborne Charity, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization which is tax exempt with the Internal Revenue Service.
